Bubba Bowles’ Country Breakfast Sausage

From the hills of southern West Virginia, a recipe for sausage handed down through at least 6 generations. Organically grown pork or turkey gives a delightfully old fashioned flavor that you can’t find in the local grocery stores.
We ship frozen to most locations in the continental USA.
Whether you order the mild or hot versions, the cooking instructions are the same. The sausage is delivered in bulk and should be made into patties the size of your liking. Set the temperature to about 300º to 325º (about 50% of the knob turn on most electric ranges and flip frequently allowing the meat to brown and obtain a very slight crust. This is important as the sausage is so lean that it may burn on the outer layer before getting done in the middle. It may stick a little to the skillet so you may want to spray a little spray oil on the pan prior to cooking.
The sausage is shipped previously frozen. Do not refreeze the sausage. It will keep for up to one and a half weeks, if refrigerated.
